Question in Game

Good evening everyone, I've already played Diablo IV, but I feel like there comes a point where the content starts to run out, so I went to Diablo 2, played a little but quit. I'm at a stage where I start a game and quit. The ARPG I've played the most so far is Diablo IV, but I want to try other games like POE2, and some other Diablo, or similar games. Can anyone recommend a game in that regard? And can you also give me tips on how to "rediscover the joy of gaming"?

I’d give Grim Dawn a shot if you haven’t played it yet. It’s not a live service game like D4, POE1, or POE2 and it’s balanced around SSF gameplay vs global multiplayer trade like POE.

It’s deep, but you don’t need build guides or a “meta strategy”. If you’re semi competent on the basics of ARPG mechanics, you’ll be just fine making a home brew build which is a huge selling point.

POE1 would be a great start because 1. It’s free and 2. Theres ALOT of content to try out. You might love doing Heists, or running delves. You could enjoy killing uber bosses and farming drops. Maybe you take a liking to crafting and become a hideout warrior. POE1 is great for all the things you can try. Then, if you enjoy it, spend the $30 on POE2 and experience even more depth and evolution. Building characters is my favorite part of the game, the possibilities are endless and passive tree/skills have tons of possibilities. But if that’s all too much you can always follow a guide on a bulletproof build and just simply enjoy the rest of the game. I’ve played over 2000 hours combined of POE1 and 2. I’ve also played a lot of Diablos as well. I can safely say I enjoy POE a lot more due to the depth the game has.

Be sure to set goals for what you want to achieve going into these games. Mindlessly playing without goals can make you think "whats the point?"
