I have almost 2k divine, and I’m getting ready to buy a bow.
I have never crafted anything before, but I’m wondering if now would be a good time to start.
I just don’t know how much currency is needed to craft a bow vs buying it.
Aiming to buy a 900 dps bow if that matters…

I would just buy one and practice on something lower investment. Don't blow 2k divs
Crafting is fun due to the gamble but if your limited on currency then dont go all in on a craft it may not work. IMO, Try to find a item on trade that fits your needs for your available funds.
For crafting a bow, 2k divines is more than enough. 900 DPS bows for 2k divs won't have crit chance, which is basically essential. Just look up crafting guides and go from there. I like to buy a T1 phys magic bow, fracture it, chaos spam for T1 crit, exalt prefixes, convert w/ perfect essence, then desecrate/exalt/whittle prefixes until you get what you want.
