Crafting amulet help

I'm a total noob at crafting... I wonder if this amulet is worth crafting. And if it is, wich is the best route?

If i'm not wrong, omen of whittling will get rid of the maximum mana.
Also, I think the best options for prefixes would be spirit, rarity, and then energy shield or mana. I'm i right?

Bad base. Suffixes are better than prefixes on amulet.

Not worth whittling. Just desecrate prefix with essence of the abyss and try to fracture +3 if you want to craft on that. Then chaos spam for spirit. Last part is more tricky.
