Everything dies instantly in T15s (including me). How can I remove myself from the equation?

Seeing most posts here I know for a fact that I'm a complete noob in POE2 endgame. I just YOLO 4-mod T15s with irradiated and abyss tablet, everything organically dropped by me own maps.

I've been trying to copy similar-levelled Ritualists in poe ninja but it's not really working out defensively. Mostly my experience has been one-shotting every mob from a distance, but if they can gap close or jump at me or even a random projectile hits me I'm basically dead.

I want to keep doing this amazing damage which is super fun but not dying randomly every 5 mins (not fun).

Some additional context:

- My budget is around 80-100d. As I play I sell all abyss stuff and many times shit sells for over a div so I can reliably get more currency just by playing the game (love this league xd).

- I do not craft my gear, everything I have is second-hand stuff or failed crafts costing between 1-20 div. Well and Rakiata's Flow which is my most expensive item.

- I want to play exclusively Spark, it's my favourite and only spell I will manually cast, maybe 1 Sigil of Power for bosses but that's all. So the defense must come passively :)

That's all! I really just want to stop dying every time.

First upgrade was this little ring https://imgur.com/a/4l3WPt0 for only 3 div. I tried it on a map and felt immortal but my damage dropped considerably from speccing out of eldritch battery. Will need to keep upgrading dmg.

Are you trolling with that build? Your defences are the worst ever seen, showing a complete lack of understanding of the game mechanics. 38% fire resistance, 1200 life with no energy shield (using EB) and no defences at all.

If you want to play a single button spark build, go stormweaver with high arcane surge effect and lots of mana for mana sustain, this way you don't need EB. Get a bit of damage taken from Mana before life for extra survivability. This will give you better damage and 10x better defense.

Getting your resistances capped is a must.

Beyond that you need to invest in multiple defensive layers. Having Eldritch Battery gives you no Energy shield already. You have no evasion, no energy shield, and your resistances aren't capped.

Your only defensive layer is your life pool and even that is low.

Do you have a link for the build guide you were following so we can see what the actual end goal was?

Normally, a caster build would be getting as much ES as they can and potentially speccing into Chaos Inoculation if your build calls for it.

ur looking for Mind over Matter node. build ur passive tree towards it. Lose that dream fragment garb and get a ring that maxes out ur res while giving some decent amount of flat mana (plus % mana if u can afford)

4k ehp with 2k phys max hit. Wonder why you’re dying. You either need to get a lot more damage % from mana before life, or drop eldritch battery and stack es. Look on Poe ninja for spark ritualist without the eldritch battery nodes, with 20k + ehp.

Max your resistance that’s the first thing and see if anything changes. Could also tweak your build a bit to get 100% damage taken from mana before life.

why are you playing with eldrich battery? you have 1.2k lifem no energy shield and no damage taken as mana so everything just instantly kills you

Hey there, I was in the same situation as you couple months ago, here are some tips for you that can help:

Your main issue is you are focusing on mana way too much without getting any benefit out of it, I would take out EBattery so you have enough energy shield.

if you have mana problems go for bloodmagic and leech build
Max Res above getting more dmg 75/75/75
get a better set of gloves uniques are cool and all but you need gloves with Res and energy shield so you don’t go boom
get a better belt
your rings are very bad, you are way too focused on mana but have no res on your rings.
