Regarding the discussion on overpowered affixes...
I've seen a lot of commenting and discussion lately regarding "required" stats, particularly movement speed and +skill levels, and I wanted to offer my two cents and maybe have a more nuanced discussion.
I want to start by saying powerful chase affixes are not the problem, it's lack of competition with other affixes. +Skills could still be knocked down a couple levels, but I think it's very important not to remove these types of affixes from the game.
More competitive affixes means more options for different builds and increased diversity in powerful gear and even increased build diversity.
For example, instead of removing +3 to melee skills, what if we capped it at +2 instead, and then offered a hybrid option of +1 melee and any other powerful stat like +damage of some sort or +spirit or something.
Same with movement speed, what about a hybrid 25% movement speed and +15-20 deflection, or +5-8% life, or a nice big chunk of defense stat. Something strong enough to make people think about whether they REALLY need that extra 10% movement speed.
I feel like this would make for some interesting outcomes and give people more options in general, whereas removing affixes just gives us less affixes.
