I was fortunate enough to get a prism belief with plus three entangle. today I pulled it out and put in a sapphire thinking about selling it and try cast on crit comet. what surprised me was my damage didn't change at all. should this reflect directly in DPS or am I missing something?
by the way I don't think I'm going comet because prism of belief + 3 comets are now going for seven mirrors!
For some reason your stats snapshot and you have to go to a new instance to see changes.
I did exactly what you did but had enough div to not have to sell my entangle prism. As long as you have a decent atziri chest, Rathpith, and wand this shit melts. My comet is level 38 without a prism and does like 2.5-3 mil per hit unbuffed and I spellslinger the fire infusions. Highest buffed fire infused comet I’ve had was like 14 mil. You don’t need the prism for it to decimate everything.
once you teleport anywhere it will show new stats its a wierd bug
If you use POB, I find it to be a better way of looking at actual damages minus some bugs here and there.
Also you can reach level 40 comet without a prism of belief or even pathing to Endless Blizzard.
Slot your CoC with comet, uhtreds augury/omen, dalles desire. Make sure your comet is corrupted at level 21. Now get a +5 wand, +4 amulet, and atziris chest. The cost to get those are probably less than 2 mirrors if you’re not picky. Can also get a +7 staff for the cheaper route.
