Temple layout question

Hi everyone!

As a fairly new player (300h), I want to learn as much as possible, so I'm currently trying to build my own temple based on my base architect layout and my current knowledge.

I came up with this. It’s not a perfect temple, but I feel like it’s a good starting point to better understand temple building.

What do you think of it? Is this a viable temple for farming, or is it not worth building something like this? Should I try to replace my architect or look online for a better layout with this one?

Thank you all in advance!

Is it possible to kill the architect and reposition him where you want the advanced temple without destroying a large part of it? Using blockades?

I just started playing this game and have done this temple thing twice. Still no fucking idea what to do or the point is.

unless you can consistently sustain at least 3 locks per run, this is pretty impossible.

I'm interested too. Is there a guide or smt around?

I'm not sure if you can build like this as golem work part at the top right need American sandwich tech and you'll loop your temple there when connecting with architect on no.5. Taumaturge part also need russian tech and that means you need to build second chain before finishing first chain and it will take a toll on your lock sustain.

Good build but you want be able to the thaumaturge corruption chamber chain without a russian tech and you dont have the space to do it unless you start the chain before finishing your first one. Also the golem chain wont work without looping your temple.

Just build a temple with architect in a different position. If you’ve already started something like this with the spymaster chain, the loop with the sac chamber, and the start of your smithy/golem chain, just let it degen and run architect until he gets to correct position.

As others have posted—this layout might not be possible due to potential for looping and it’ll be suboptimal anyway. If you’re going to spend 40+ hours building, then make it the right way. You’ll have less fomo at the end
