How would this interact? New player needs help understanding the math behind passive nodes.

Hi, I'm a new player who's been enjoying the game way too much. Started HC gameplay only to die 3 times and now I'm finally doing maps with 2 characters doing my own builds. Anyway, what I wanted to ask is, how would these 2 passive nodes interact with each other? Would "Bestial Skin" negate the effects from Stalking Panther or would the latter overwrite it?

Not an expert on this, But I thinks the priority is that the raw EV amount of your body armor is halved then you apply +100% on it.

So they counter interact indeed.

Note that EV halved on body armour is a bigger malus than the bonus you gain from 100% increase. Since it's the raw value (aka the baseline number) for all your "% increased EV" sources, it will have way more impact. You need to compensate with others stuffs. It's a best node if you play hybrid with an full ES body armor for ex.
