Visit Taiwan, one of the best places for American/English speaking tourists. One of the safer countries in Asia to visit, relatively clean, and the night markets are insanely fun.

Niagara Falls, Canada. Super touristy, but if you like nature there is lots to explore away from the tourist hell that is Clifton Hill along the Parkway (trails, gardens, bouldering in Glenn) Lots of history (war 1812), Niagara on the Lake has great Theatre (Shaw Festival), Wineries and not far from Toronto. Plus I can give you free tickets for the Parks commission attractions haha!

Visit where I'm from, Mauritius is it's tropical island south of Africa. If you're into seafood, snorkeling or simply just relaxing on the beach it's a must!
