A tale of two staves. My first big crafts.

Talk about a rollercoaster of emotions!

My goal was everything you see here with t1 crit damage bonus. On my first attempt, I rolled t1 crit on my very first desecration, then hit t1 flat lightning with max values within 5 tries. It was going perfectly and I was feeling very good about my first big craft so far. RNG was smiling upon me!

Then, while whittling somehow I missed the orange text change to my crit line and replaced it with stun build up. It’s funny now, it wasn’t funny then. I couldn’t believe I fucked up the perfect craft and was ready to call it quits. Whittled stun and very fortunately hit t1 attack speed. After some more whittling I managed to hit the prefixes I wanted and save the craft. I was very relieved, but also couldn’t stop thinking about how I almost had my personal BiS qstaff.

Got a few sales in the shop and had just enough to try again. Almost all of my currency went into landing t1 crit again. What was given to me so graciously on my first attempt took 30+ desecrations this time around. At this point I didn’t think I could make the craft happen. Fortunately, I had much better luck with my whittles and here we are!
