Help me with my COC oracle build please

Hi guys,

For a little bit of context i usually play simplier builds but i started with the bear shaman but didnt like it much so i tried to look for alternative and this looked interesting/fun

https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/Lolosho-4874/character/BigBaboosh

the problem is i cant make it work the damage is not there and im so squishy i know my res are a bit low i can tweak that but i feel like there is more to this?

if i cast two elemental weakness and all my life is gone. it is also hard for me to trigger the comets takes too much time imo. any idea why?

thanks in advance for the help im new to this kind of gameplay builds any explanation would be amazing. i want to understand a bit more the mechanics as im quite new to the game

i have maybe a hundred div to make some modifications

thanks again

Haven't done coc oracle, only coc spark stormweaver. That wasn't good before I got 60%+ crit chance and trigger damage over 20k. (spark). So I played without cast on crit until my build got mature and more powerful. Not sure if it's the same way for your build.

Your rings are pretty dog shit tbh. You are not getting any leech from your rings as your skills are spells and not physical attacks.

Your time lost jewels aren’t really doing anything by for you either. Need crit chance and crit damage bonus.

lose the helmet (and maybe blink & arctic armour) and get a vertex with +# all skills (+3 should be quite affordable at this time)

for the covenant, try get one with 220+ es, +# max life, spell leech, and WITHOUT the "skills gain a life cost" mod.

ur time-lost jewels are also garbage. use normal jewels until you have a better understanding of them. for ur passive trees, try get more +spell dmg, +dmg, +crit chance, +crit bonus nodes.

It may sound a bit harsh but ur problem is u have like primary school level knowledge of the game but are using college level techniques everywhere. the above changes should bring ur char to a playable state and then what u need to do is to read and think and gradually build the game knowledge and learn how to improve ur char over time
