I hope they figure out ignite. Ignite damage when it doesn't compound is absolutely terrible.
While this interaction is broken I hope they do something about spell scaling with + levels as well.
I guess stacking ignites is just too strong in general. Obviously the oil grenade interaction was a bug but completely removing the two stacking ignite skills seems like an interesting choice for the race.

ignite is in such a weird place. It's just far too weak in the "normal" sense, and this was far too strong. I'm curious what the right solution is. Maybe some sort of quadratic scaling or something, allowing ignites to compound but they're scaled by the square root of the number of ignites. So like, if you have 4 ignites, you'll only deal 50% of the total ignite damage, etc. Though I guess this would punish adding lots of small ignites, so maybe they find a way to fix that, but i'm just spitballin here.

I hope POE2 fire magic in general gets a huge rework or some new options. Why is fireball a projectile that shoots out 8 smaller projectiles in a circle? AFAIK the smaller ones don't get a transferred bonus if the big one went through a flame wall, and I don't think they shotgun-hit the main target you collided with, so I don't get what the synergy/combo is supposed to be for flame-focused casters. Also apparently the secondary proj is only when you consume an infusion now?
Maybe fireball should just go boom in a big AOE and do a lot of damage. I played a fire build at launch and it did zdps except for full-stacks Ember Fusillade which is clunky to set up every time you want to kill something. Firestorms just kinda tickled packs, and I never played it again afterwards.
Maybe some of that has gotten better now, but I still feel like the fire spells need more simple wow factor that makes them feel powerful to use, as I don't see a lot of people being pyro-enjoyers in leagues since.
Dot is useful if u can cast it and go straight into dodging mechanics while dot continues to do DMG. Incinerate forces u to stay in one place and barely does DMG. In what fantasy is a magic user unable to run round and have flames burst from their palms? Pls let us channel it while moving at regular speed.
