What am I doing wrong? Temple help requested

Hey Exiles,

Originally I had an unoptimized temple with a snake starting to the right - full wrap of the perimeter and then some. I decided to destabilize and go for fubgooner’s optimized temple. While building my snake to the left, I’ve retained a portion of my right snake to help generate medallions. This strat was working great at fist, until it wasn’t. Literal dead stop. I have not seen a spymaster or spymaster medallion in over 50 runs, legitimately. I didn’t start counting at first tbh, I could honestly be closer to 60 or 70 runs.

I’ve watched the videos, listened to what Truth of Exile says about getting spymasters. I feel like the game is being truly relentless right now.

Unless maybe there’s something I’m overlooking? Am I doing something wrong? Is there any advice you can offer?

Wild. I’ve been there too but i don’t think to the extreme you are talking about.

What’s crazy is my only advice was going to be the truth of exile stuff… i genuinely feel it works, and worked for me! But i see you sitting there with all those garrisons in great spots… give me a damn spymaster game!

So yea no advice other than i bet you’ll get one in like 2 runs now that you made this post. Or if you genuinely accidentally had some interaction that ruined your chances at getting one then it isn’t clear to me what it is. I mean ultimately you’re looking pretty good it’s just a crazy time sink to get it built

Nothing's wrong, ur doing great, just gotta keep going. If u dont see lock medal drop, try making new instance or restart game. Can also put other room in the middle path like Commander.. they have chance to drop room medallion which can be Spymaster
