This is absolutely true. Not even a joke really.

I mean, you CAN focus on other things, but it’s just so damn inefficient. If my goal for the season is to push a build as far as I can I have to switch to full time trader mode in the later endgame.

Idk how you play as a casual. I put 550 hours into “season 1” not knowing it was like this. I feel so betrayed and i hate the game. Why would i spent 50 hours doing sekema runs for temporalis just for it to become worthless when the new “season” comes out? I cant get over it and im so hurt. I was devastated when they nuked my 1.2 mil stat stacking monk. I said its okay ill sell the gear and make a new killer character. Then i found out you cant migrate it over to the new “season” or whatever. It feels like a complete waste of time. Anything you do has no impact. Its just a ticking time bomb to irrelevance. Atleast to me thats how it feels. I loved the game. I had so much fun. The stat stacking monk was INSANE, but the thought of having to do this all over again every “X” amount of time just kills it for me. Thoughts? How do you look at it being a casual?

Poe 1 was good and poe 2 has potential, but my favorite arpg has got to be POB

I have played since closed beta and I have played SSF the whole time, and for me the game is "Kill, Loot, Die" Do I follow builds? No. Do I play meta skills? No. Do I play the league mechanic? Yes, If it's fun. I just do what i have to do kill and loot more than i die, but it has to be fun. If it's not then i don't do it. Following this simple rule I have NEVER not had fun playing POE all these years.

No, you didn't. Make it 5-6 seasons and you'll get the gist of it.

I’ve been playing since launch and I wouldn’t hold your breath. It will probably change with .5. I may just wait for 1.0 to avoid the frustration.
