Late league start

Hey guys, wanting to jump in super late.Is it even worth starting now?I have seen posts that economy is bad. Also what is temple leeching? Are there any level requirements?Im looking to level as fast as possible.

What is the best End Game build? Not on mega high tier budget, but something attainable for casual.

I saw some lich coc stuff that looks godly.

What is the best league starter now?I was thinking of druid build from raxx.

Any other recommendations?

Thank you in advance.

Hello friend, I’ll try to give my two cents here, first I’ll answer your questions,

  • The temple is the mechanic this season, before you go in and wing your temple randomly try watch a few videos in case you decide to fully build yours you have a few steps ahead. Temple leeching is going in someone else’s temple to leech XP just by “existing” there, as people pointed out you get to 60-90+ in like 30mins. No level requirements just that they open their temple for you.

  • best “endgame” build this season is CoC Comet anything basically. Sadly bc of the temple (money printer she fully boosted) economy is nuts and the gear for your endgame char can get very very overpriced but still doable if you’re not looking to min/max.

  • great league starter IMO if you don’t have a favorite is either Druid or Witch. Both the two kings of meta builds these league and also a breeze thru campaign. (Which you go for Leech and respect to bloodmage later on).

  • my recommendation is play at your pace and try different stuff before jumping in the CoC train. “Enjoy the ride”, unless what you consider fun is getting very OP then go for CoC :P. I would also recommend Druid over BM a bit more bc with Druid you can respect later on to oracle and try wolf/wyvern/bear builds and have some fun whereas with BM there’s less variety of builds.

Also once you decide what you wanna play if you want send me a DM I can hook you up with some currency to get you started.

Sry for the long reply hopefully you read, and lmk if you have any more questions, happy to help :)

I got a late start, and I'm having a blast. I'm sure a bunch of people will be like, "PoE 1 league starts tomorrow, PoE 2 league is dead!!1!!11!!" but don't believe them. There's still tons of people playing, and the fact that some people are gonna bail for PoE 1 just means you have good odds of some generous soul giving you a bunch of divs and/or gear to start you off on the right foot.

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:

  • CoC - Cast on Critical Strike (trigger mechanic, commonly used with Comet and other spells) (Wiki)

I started just a few days after league launch but I'm still only 77 and having trouble with anything above tier II maps. I'm still fairly new to the game and I've stubbornly refused to leech for free xp. I don't care, I'm having fun with my Titan Bear.

I played the druid build with Raxx, it was a good time and his end game build could def clear everything. I just leveled a second char, and found a Temple run at 64. Took about 20 minutes to get to 90. Most want you in the 60s for max resistance etc

Yeah I'm still enjoying the league, I started late and have had limited play time, but I'm finally making some divs pretty steadily and just got to mid80s. Really enjoying this Pathfinder Poison Arrow build.

I leveled an alt by going through the campaign, hit like 63, joined someone else's temple to leech xp (they spam global all the time, you just party up and join)... went from 63 to 90 in 1 run...

The economy is pretty borked but everything prints divs. You can run whatever you like doing- I never made a juiced temple and still had like 2k divs at one point...

I keep hearing "economy is bad" but the increased currency drops have me actually using the orbs instead of trading while going through the campaign. It's a nice change.
