Checked the outcomes with Hinekoras Lock on this perfectly rolled chestpiece (max armour rolls) and it revealed the two best possible corruptions.
+1 socket or 5% additional physical damage reduction. Which would you choose? Guys I am Shaking
Physical damage reduction gives much more ehp than the additional socket

I compared two options on random warrior from poe ninja with the same mods on chestpiece (Builds - Ondrawar - Path of Exile 2 - poe.ninja, i replaced his runes with Iron Runes). 5% PDR doubles max physical hit compared to extra socket

Personally i would go for the extra socket to sell with another iron rune in it, but using it with the 5% is gonna be really good in most cases
