Playing some of the new holy skills in Mirage league. I’m betting right now that the rework on these was done as a way to bridge the gap and reuse assets for an upcoming Templar release. I bet these are flail skills!
On one hand, i wouldn't rule it out, especially since Jonathan had already talked about RF a couple leagues ago which kinda implies it's one of the classes they had done some skill work on.
And, yeah, some of the PoE 1 stuff is definitely from the PoE 2 Templar development.
On the other hand, they might also try to prioritize swords, with its class, since the lower part of the passive tree is kinda empty, and they already acknowledged that swords are somewhat of a necessity before 1.0.
We'll see.

If we get Templar, swords and an endgame in 0.5 - and people like it - we can be pretty sure we get 1.0 for Christmas.
If it holds Pohx will be one busy guy.
I highly doubt that. They said that the Druid was so much more work than they anticipated.They even had to delay the endgame changes as they had so much work to make Druid work. And Druid already is on Templar’s spot on the tree so probably before or on the release I would guess.
Duelist or bust
At this point I would just be happy with swords. Been excited for cyclone. But knowing poe2 its gonna need 3 endurance charges just too spin for 2s. Finding it harder to be excited for specific abilities or classes anymore. Bring back mana stacking ffs.
In the last Q&A, they straight up said swords were next. So that means Duelist.
Just a man and his crossbow. Mercenary is duelist persona tuned up to 11 and I love it.
