Wolf Druid brick wall

first i played witch to act 4. and then decided to try druid. went wolf form. felt like a god. did ungodly damage, mobility felt great, survivability wasnt the best but manageable. fast forward to lvl 40(ish) and now i just want to delete the damn character. now my damage is way worse, but worst of all is i die ALL THE TIME. i get stunned, frozen, blocked by swarming enemies and so on.

just feels bad.

Honestly just follow a build guide for a few times , after that the passive tree and item stats will make sense and you wont need guides , but if you hit a wall at campaign its your gear 100% , elemental resistances are very important

Get freeze charm and stun charm. You probably don't have enough points to reach the nodes on the tree that grant stun threshold based on energy shield but those pretty much stopped all my stun issues. For now, you can get "+to stun threshold" modifiers on your chest piece, boots, and belt. You may just need to focus more on cold resistance stats on your gear if you are getting frozen all the time.

If you have access to trade, you can get Bhatair's Vengeance support gem on lunar slash and it will give a massive cold damage buff whenever you freeze an enemy with that skill. If swarms are the issue, you should probably be using Herald of Ice or Herald of Fire to get more AoE damage.

Post your PoE ninja?

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:

  • Brick - Using a Vaal Orb or other crafting method on an item and receiving an outcome that greatly decreases its value (Wiki)

Armour or weapon needs upgrading. Armour for thresholds (freeze, stun) and weapons for damage. I've pushed Wolf Oracle to 80 (swapped my build out of boredom but I did) and I've seen clips where it destroys endgame bosses.

I’m playing Wolf Druid and i love it. Survive t16 juiced maps. Level 96, it’s fun. Don’t give up. Get better gear. I was able to finish the campaign with stuff i found on the ground and upgraded in early maps. Definitely get your charms in order

Its 100% the weapon. Get yourself a nice talisman. I lvles mine to 92 i think. Ended up rage stacking with around 85 rage. Rage grants spell dmg as well node + crown of eyes (spell dmg applies to attacks)

It wasnt the best build on poe ninja but it could do corrupted t16 abysses without any issues

It's a gear check my friend.

Hop on the trade site and find a few upgrades. You'll be cruising along again in no time.

If you want to trade, buy/pick up white gear and slam al hemy orbs till you get +skill level/crit chance/attack speed on your weapon and as much of the defense you're using as you can.

ah yes, "just get better gear" why didnt i think of that?

also are people here not aware that not everyone sits with thousands of hours of game knowledge?

literally no comment here states anything but the obvious and nothing useful.

This season I played ice wolf with lots of energy shield to level 88, has lots of tools to deal with enemies. Other wolves draw aggro, Lunar Assault and Arctic Howl freezes enemies pretty quickly, Pounce to gap close and Cross Slash to disengage, Lunar Blessing once rage is built up to boost damage.
