What is the cheapest laptop that can play this game?

Don’t get her a laptop at all. They aren’t good for gaming for plenty of reasons.

A $1000 desktop pc still smokes a $2000 laptop, and if you want her following you in a maxed temple, your money would be MUCH better spent on a desktop

This game struggles to sustain 60 with this. I played as a Disciple plant and it would just destroy my FPS, average around 40. This is medium/low settings.

People all say just get a pc but I travel for work all the time so have to use a laptop over my desktop a lot of the time. They are right to say that a $1000 desktop would smoke a $1000 laptop, but to give you an actual answer on the minimum to spend on a laptop if you’re set on getting her a laptop and not a desktop would probably be around $1500(a few months ago I’d have said $1200 but with ram and memory prices now it’s gonna be a lot more). I got mine for $1400 last summer and it runs poe2 fine on low settings in a multi person temple, but I also bought mine before the ram boom and it has 32gb of ram.

I have the ASUS TUF A16 Advantage edition which I just checked it now goes for $1600-1700. So yeah you might be able to find something similar for a few hundred dollars less

Highly recommend going to the “buildapcforme” subreddit. You post with basic requirements, budget, etc. and they will hook you up with a shopping list.

A boosteroid account and you can play it anywhere as long as you have a stable connection (with 10mbps you are already good to for a uktra 1080p)

as a owner of a $4200 maxed out laptop.....why a laptop? I only bought this bc i travel 24/7/365. If she doesnt travel, get a desktop. Youll get 75-100% more performance per dollar compared to a laptop. A laptop isnt worth it for gaming unless youre really looking to invest a lot of cash. A mid tier laptop with like a 4070ti, is equivalent to a low tier pc with a 3060. Its simply a matter of wattage. A laptop cannot pull the same amount of power as a desktop. Go get a $1200 desktop and itll be 75-100% better than a $1200 laptop.
