Why are so many people unable to repost videos?

I have two TikTok accounts. On one I can repost, on the other I can’t, I don’t have any repost button. I’ve written to their support about this and their answer is always “this feature is currently unavailable to some users while we’re working on improving it”. Then I ask why certain accounts are affected but not others and how long this “improvement” will take (it’s literally a button, what could there possibly be to improve??), and they just reply “we don’t have any specific information on how long the work will take or why certain accounts are affected”. This is ridiculous and I’m just wondering what your thoughts are on this? Seems like a lot of people are missing their repost button since several months now.
