Started a new account in Mexico on a US number!

I just started a brand new account in Mexico on my US number. It seems that my content is only being fed to Mexican viewers…

Can anyone explain how this works? When I’m back in the US will it reach the US market? Is this detrimental for growing an account? Thank you!
