Should I make a new account?

Hey all! I have an Instagram account with around 16k followers, I used it from 2020 - 2023 for a small jewellery business I owned. Three years later I have gone back to it and have turned it into a different account where I share the behind the scenes of my new food business. But I’ve found my content is only reaching around 100 - 200 people and I’m now wondering if I should have started a new account? Maybe those followers are the wrong audience.

Please let me know what you think I should do, carry on or scrap it and start a new account?

People followed you for jewelry, not food so now your content feels random to them.

Even if they like food, it’s not why they hit follow in the first place. If you followed a fitness page and now they are posting about relationship .. same.

So when your posts show up, they’re less likely to engage… and that tells the algorithm not to push your content further.

That’s why your reach is low.

Starting a new page for your food content makes sense here.

You can make one post on your old page letting people know you’ve started something new and invite anyone interested to follow but I wouldn’t rely on that audience to carry over.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
