“Your competitors are already using AI like this” is a bit of a cliché… until you actually look behind the scenes.
A few practical use cases I’ve seen and tested out with teams recently:
- Using AI to create 10+ assets from a single blog instead of making everything from scratch
- Using AI to analyze ad performance and optimize instead of relying on guesswork
- Using AI to create a simple chat-based qualification flow before a sales call
- Using AI to create content clusters around a single topic to increase the odds of being included in AI-generated answers
- Using AI to keep brand tone consistent even as content volume grows
I think the gap isn’t so much that everyone has access to AI, but how strategically they’re using it.
What’s also interesting to me is that smaller teams and newer agencies are leapfrogging larger brands on this front because they’re actually designing around AI, not just using it as a tool.
I think we’re reaching a point where it’s not that everyone’s using AI, but that everyone’s not necessarily using it well.
