why do my unfinished draft disappear??

I film a video, I quit the app, it's supposed to save as a draft. I open the app again, the pop up at the top of the screen appears: do I want to save draft or edit it? I press on edit it, and it takes me to the video editing page WHERE its literally as if I had filmed it at that exact moment but it doesnt let me continue, it only lets me press the 'x' button. if I press it, the vid gets deletd, if I close the app again, it also disappears... wtf?

if I press on save draft, it saves it, but when I open my drafts and try to edit or post it, the same thing happens with the 'x'... so... how do I prevent this from happening

ps. im extremely mad I had an AMAZING tiktok and I wanted to post it and this happened I want to CRY literally
