Scheduled tweets are dead. I automated the "reply strategy" instead
Pushing content through Buffer does literally nothing on X right now. Organic growth is 100% in the replies under KOLs. But manual replying is soul-crushing, and VAs just spam "great post bro" which ruins your brand.
I have a dev background, so I coded my own AI setup to fix this. It actually reads the entire thread context, not just keywords. I built two workflows for this:
- Chrome Extension: I scroll my feed, hit a custom button on a tweet, and pick a vibe. E.g., "Degen" for my web3 clients, or "Professional" for B2B. It drafts a smart reply in a second, I tweak it and post.
- Telegram Bot: I set the filters (target keywords, ignore tweets under 50 likes, blacklisted words) and it just runs 24/7 in the background.
The hardest part was dodging X's shadowbans. I had to route every client account through unique browser fingerprints, proxies, and add random delays (30s to 20m) so it actually looks like a human scrolling.
It saved my sanity managing accounts, so I opened it up as a SaaS. Not dropping links to respect sub rules, but it's in my profile if you're hitting the same bottleneck.
Are you guys still selling standard content calendars or shifting to engagement?
