real talk i’ve been pouring so much time into static images and they’re just tanking in reach. i started testing more carousels and short video clips this month and the engagement is finally moving again but man the production time is a killer. i’m trying to hit a volume of like 15 pieces a week and if i don’t have a solid system for repurposing i just end up staring at a blank screen by wednesday lol. how are you guys balancing the need for "high quality" visuals with the reality of being a one person team with zero design budget? would love to hear if you're actually seeing a lift from specific formats or if i'm just overthinking the hook.

carousels are carrying our page rn. we went from like 500 reach on static posts to 3-4k on carousels in a month. the trick for us was just repurposing blog content into slide format, takes like 20 min per carousel once you have a template. dont overthink the design just make it readable

The key here is not better design but better structure:

compelling opening slide (think of it as a hooking headline)

fast skimble value in between

reason for saving/sharing in the end

Not to mention, avoid spending too much effort on visual design when working alone. Clean > complex.

Volume-wise, the only trick that works is recycling content:

one topic → carousel + short video + text post

Many small teams work like this in the background (essentially systemizing content instead of inventing something new each time).

I cuck at this stuff but carousels are blowing POV away right now. But for me I’m happy with 1k - 2k views.

So I will agree. Last year posts out performed my reels millions to thousands, this year reels are outperforming. It is literally like a switch for my account was turned the opposite from last year. I always say insta tells you what it wants you to show- currently my drafts for posts / carousels will not even save a post as a draft. Reels no issues. Also, my posts are going mostly to followers like 95% and the reels to non followers like 85%. I just keep posting and really try not to care but share what we love. It's tough. I am hopeful to have balance always.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
