Doing this in a hospital where people can see this happening is wild to me, if one of my coworkers started doing this shit, I'd tell them to stop ~~them~~ it.

Listen, I get it. First time we had to withdraw care on my patient was brutal. Watching a family be absolutely devastated, seeing their loved one’s last few breaths is a very intimate yet invasive part of working in health care. Doing the postmortem care, walking the body to the morgue, driving home in complete silence, it can take its toll. I get it.

In healthcare, you should Morn the dead, give respect to their life, take time for yourself before you get back to the “grind”, and take care of yourself.

But this is fucking embarrassing. It’s engagement bait. It’s trashy.

This is the EXACT scenario that plays out in my mind when people post these stupid inauthentic videos.

So so so so good

Between all the paperwork/documentation that comes with losing a patient, how does she even find the time to make a fake grief TikTok about it?

it's not really about the patient. it's about me, me, me

This reminds me of the Charles Brockman III skits on High School Musical and Camp Rock.
