I tested multiple platforms to grow accounts fast — here’s what actually works
🧠 Title:
Why do new social media accounts struggle so much now?
📄 Content:
I’ve been testing account growth on platforms like Instagram and TikTok recently, and I’ve noticed something frustrating:
👉 New accounts barely get any reach.
Even with decent content, engagement feels extremely limited compared to older accounts.
Here’s what I’ve observed:
-
New accounts get restricted easily
It feels like platforms don’t “trust” fresh accounts anymore.
Posting too fast or switching devices triggers issues quickly. -
Stability matters more than growth hacks
Using the same device, same network, and consistent behavior actually made a bigger difference than any trick. -
Older accounts perform way better
Accounts with history seem to:
- get better exposure
- avoid restrictions
- grow more naturally
- One-platform strategy doesn’t work well anymore
Trying to grow and convert on the same platform feels inefficient.
Splitting traffic (content → community) seems more effective.
Curious about others’ experience:
👉 Are you still creating new accounts in 2026?
👉 Or focusing more on aged accounts?
Would love to hear what’s working for you guys.
