How many people can you follow at once?

Hello. I’m a photographer trying to get more exposure. I have various social media platforms. On all of them I add about 50 people at a time, 1-2 times per day. I prefer web browser over app. Anyone know how this works with TikTok? I think it throttled me on web browser pretty quick and even app has some limits that the others platforms don’t have
