Information that “they” don’t want to you know is downright intoxicating for the uneducated. It makes them feel smart. People like things that make them feel smart.

call kinesiology or Applied kinesiology . people study it. studies have shown it to be about the same as random guessing. so likely "works" via the placebo like much of all medicine relies a bit on the placebo and ritual.
