Friends Account Unable to Join Group Chat

My friend made a TikTok account relatively recently (over 30 days ago), and we have been unable to add them to our group chat. When we try the app just says "this feature isn't available for everyone". We have tried everything. They have logged out and back in, cleared cache, checked all of their settings, verified their age, verified we all follow each other etc. We have tried making new groups too and nothing seems to work. If anyone knows a way to fix this PLEASE let me know. Thank you!

There’s no way to fix it, tiktok slowly rolls out these features - stupid I know (like everything else on that app) I couldn’t see peoples reposts till they decided to add that a few weeks ago. And I have the same issue with groups. Just have to wait.
