POV: you're paired up for a project with a dude who doesn't find you attractive

This is sad and he did a great job playing this role well EW. There were a lot of shallow kids in school where unfortunately not being conventionally attractive meant you were less of a person and didn’t deserve to be taken seriously.

And they aaaaalways think you're hitting on them or interested in any way at all, so it gets even worse.

And this is why I always just asked to do group projects by myself. If I was gonna be doing all the fucking work anyway, I’m not letting these other assholes get a good grade with all my work.

This video was so accurate that I hated it lmao. I remember soooo many shitty guys like this in school and I graduated 20 fuckin years ago.

This usually happened to me when I was in undergrad (math and computer science). Me (black) and this other girl (white) were the only girls in the upper level classes. The white and Asian guys (the American ones) did not like being in a group with me and would always ask me about the other girl. They would get genuinely irritated when I would talk to them about the project details too.

They also always assumed I didn’t know know anything even though they would do absolute rubbish and I would have to completely redo everything and turn it in lol

God. This unlocked repressed trauma. Too accurate.
