TikTok glitch?

My ex blocked me on TikTok a few weeks ago. There have been maybe 3-4 times when I have gone onto the app and our chat is still there. It always says “account not found” with no profile picture but sometimes I go on the app and it says his name with his profile picture. Then I refresh and it’s back to account not found.

What does this mean? Does that mean he’s blocked and unblocked me? Or is it a glitch?
