Does anybody know how to fix this problem

Sometimes When I’m on TikTok I’ll get a notification that some of friends have posted a story but when I go to view it it’s not there this is same with posts sometimes, the only reason I know it’s not been taken down is that I’ve seen my friends view it on there account after I’ve tried to, I’ve taken TikTok off my phone and then downloaded it again but it didn’t fix it also tried clearing cache. To also add on the TikTok web I logged in and was on people accounts with stories up with the blue ring round there profile picture but when I went on the app to view them there was nothing there. Where do I go from here ?
