Irish person here. Michael Healy-Rae is a walking political embarrassment, he only resigned because he built his entire political brand on rural affairs and so if he wanted any chance of surviving the next election he had to back the farmers fuel protest. Honestly nobody is sad to see him go, him and his brother are two of the biggest morons in the country and run their region of Kerry through parish pump politics and graft.

I mean what could anyone else do better in his position? This crisis is caused externally by Trump and Israel.

No Politician anywhere can do anything short of sending their boats on a 1-way trip to the bloackade...

Another Irish person here, this guy is a joke of a human and was only included in government because of a desperate effort to form a government, nobody takes him seriously.

Why,is he in some scandal or something

The Healy-Raes are two faced and say what the public want to hear while behaving completely opposite. Up in arms in the Dáil over the housing crisis - how many properties does he himself own as a landlord??

I'm a servant of the people. Of course the people sent me to represent them in the government....and now I've resigned

Soon or later, these prime ministers will start having talks with Iran themselves and paying the fee. Once that happens, Trump is FUCKED.

Junior minister and its hard to call him a politician, he fixes roads and attends funerals, nothing more.
