Is there a way to make your fyp show videos only from a specific time period?

Not really possible with the algorithm since it's designed to push newest content first. You could try scrolling back through specific creators' profiles if you remember who was posting good stuff during that time period, but that's gonna take forever 😂

The algorithm doesn't really have date filters like that - it's more focused in keeping you engaged with fresh content rather than letting you browse by time periods
