Not really funny i had a similar situation in 8th grade and i wasn't even a class clown just got bullied alot couldn't really focus in school family issues... Invited all of us to the auditorium and made the ones that weren't graduating stand up against the wall... Screwed me up as a kid...

You have no idea what this young man has gone through or what challenges kept him from doing his best.

Is being a clown a way to avoid people seeing the struggle? To be liked instead of bullied?

Failing in a US public school is a feat. I was a teacher for awhile and they literally wouldn't let me fail kids. It was the scumiest thing ever.
