What's the best way to get rid of videos featuring tik tok shop?

A few weeks ago, I accidentally watched a video featuring tik tok shop for a second too long I guess and since then it's flooded my feed. Sometimes I get a few days with zero tik tok shop, but rn every fifth video is promotional content. I don't know what to do anymore (no, deleting tik tok is not an option, I very much enjoy my fandom spaces). I've tried immediately pausing and pressing "not interested" but that didn't seem to do the trick. Immediately pausing the video and blocking the creator doesn't seem to do it either. Literally how can I get rid of it??
