Emails from Tiktok notifying me of my ex's account.

I don't have Tiktok and I never had it but my email has been receiving this notification emails from Tiktok since January 2026 informing me of who is messaging the account and the video's being posted by my ex-GF, who I have been separated from since 2022.

I haven't looked her up since and now all of a sudden, I'm being emailed about her account. Would anyone know why this is happening just this year? Was my email used to make an account hence why I'm being informed of her account? Is she using my email because in the subject on some of the emails it says "XYZ sent you a message"

either someone made account with your email or she's still got you saved as contact somewhere and the app is being weird about notifications. happened to me with different app when my buddy still had my old number saved - kept getting his stuff even though i never signed up

check if you can log in with that email, if you can then yeah someone definitely made account using it

your email is probably her recovery email. So if she hasn't got access to the account or her email address then you are next point of contact.

That's my guess.
