Will my drafts be gone if I update the app?

I have automatic updates turned off for my apps, and now when I go onto tiktok I get a message asking me to update to the newest version but I’ve heard some people have lost their drafts recently. I have over 2000 drafts saved from over the years. I don’t plan on deleting and reinstalling, just a simple update but will I lose my drafts?
