The state of Tiktok is now unbearable

Bought one item from Tiktok Shop, and my FOLLOWING tab becomes advertisements for over 40+ posts in a row. Nonstop. For over FOURTY POSTS. Even after closing and restarting the app, I just get bombarded with new ads. I don’t share, like or even follow these ads and their accounts.

I’m following around 700 real accounts too, and I get none of their posts.

Guess it’s a sign to stop scrolling and using Tiktok.

Never using Tiktok Shop anymore either if this is the result.

A lot of the creators I follow, I haven’t seen in the longest time. I’ve just started to see some because they started to link products, because they found out that’s the only way their video is pushed out. Which appears to be true.

I am getting ads usually every 3 thing don't see my normal stuff and views dropped between 60 and 90% it's sad . Bring back China

I report or press "not interested" on every ad I get. I've noticed that I see nearly no ads for like 2 days after I do that, then they reappear, and then I repeat the process. This method works for me so it might work for you
