Vampire story?

I remember seeing this older white guy who went viral for sharing a story of himself encouraging some of us creature while in Italy or some other european country. Something about encountering it a lot time ago and then going back to meet them again. I remember he said he would no longer tell his story because the creator had scared him senseless. Does anyone who know im talking about????? I don't remember his name
