One person killing videos

I have been posting quite a lot recently and had quite a few videos up well over 100k views, most sit between 1-8000. I have a friend on there that I speak to daily through the app but if he likes my video it stops receiving any views, may get 10 max after he’s liked it, why would this happen, it is only the ones he has liked and if he’s first to like it may only get 3-8 views
