Built an AI workflow for client content strategy

Been working on a prompt system for social media agency work and wanted to share the workflow since it's cut my setup time down significantly.

The problem I was trying to solve: every new client requires the same groundwork. Brand voice, content pillars, 30-day calendar. It's the same process every time and it takes hours.

Here's how I handle it now using Claude:

First I run a brand voice extraction prompt. Paste in 5 examples of the client's existing content and it produces a short paragraph you can put at the top of every future prompt to lock in their tone. Everything you generate after that sounds like the client instead of generic AI output.

Then a pillar extraction prompt using their onboarding answers. Produces 4-5 content pillars, a mission statement, and 5 post ideas per pillar formatted well enough to send directly to the client.

Then the calendar prompt. 30 days, post topics, formats, caption openers, posting times in a clean table ready to drop into a scheduler.

For a new client the whole thing takes about 2 hours including review. For ongoing months closer to 45 minutes.

I tested it on a made-up client to see how far it would go and the outputs were solid. Happy to share the specific prompts in the comments if anyone wants them.

this is actually pretty similar to what most agencies end up building for themselves over time

only thing i’d say is the prompts are the easy part, keeping the output consistent across months/clients is where it usually breaks

like first month looks great, then it slowly drifts back to generic unless you keep tightening it

i’ve seen people try to turn this into a more structured setup with tools like runable so it’s not just prompt -> output every time, but same challenge there too, consistency over time

still though, getting it down to 2 hours is solid, that’s where most of the time usually gets wasted

The brand voice extraction step is the one that actually makes everything downstream work - without that locked in ur just getting generic output no matter how good the calendar prompt is. i do something similar for the strategy side nd then run the actual content outputs through Runable for the carousels nd formatted client decks, saves the copy-paste-reformat loop that kills time at the end. The 2 hours for a new client number sounds right once the system is dialled in, first few runs always take longer

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month. Everything dying at 300 views for so long before I finally caught the problem

I've been absolutely obsessed with short form content for the last two years. Like people have staged actual interventions about my health level of obsessed. I'm talking 11-14 hour days breaking down what separates successful videos from failures, experimenting with different hook variations, rewriting scripts until my brain hurts, testing every editing approach I could possibly get my hands on.
