Built an AI workflow for client content strategy
Been working on a prompt system for social media agency work and wanted to share the workflow since it's cut my setup time down significantly.
The problem I was trying to solve: every new client requires the same groundwork. Brand voice, content pillars, 30-day calendar. It's the same process every time and it takes hours.
Here's how I handle it now using Claude:
First I run a brand voice extraction prompt. Paste in 5 examples of the client's existing content and it produces a short paragraph you can put at the top of every future prompt to lock in their tone. Everything you generate after that sounds like the client instead of generic AI output.
Then a pillar extraction prompt using their onboarding answers. Produces 4-5 content pillars, a mission statement, and 5 post ideas per pillar formatted well enough to send directly to the client.
Then the calendar prompt. 30 days, post topics, formats, caption openers, posting times in a clean table ready to drop into a scheduler.
For a new client the whole thing takes about 2 hours including review. For ongoing months closer to 45 minutes.
I tested it on a made-up client to see how far it would go and the outputs were solid. Happy to share the specific prompts in the comments if anyone wants them.
