Fake it till you make it’ actually made my content worse…
I keep hearing the phrase “fake it till you make it”,and honestly, I was told the same thing when I started.
But looking back, it actually held me back more than it helped.
At some point, I started showing up in a way that didn’t really feel like me.
And you could see it in my content.
It felt forced.
Less natural.
Less clear.
The weird part is: I actually love the topics I talk about ,health, gut health, routines.
But I struggled to translate that into content that really connects.
Understanding what people actually struggle with…
how to speak to real problems…
and then turn that into something helpful, that part was way harder than I expected.
I feel like “fake it till you make it” made me focus more on how I should show up,
instead of learning how to actually communicate better.
Curious how others see this
did “fake it till you make it” help you, or did it make things more confusing?
