Basically things like comments are still translated, but video audio is no longer translating
This issue has been going on for me for a few weeks. My app is up to date, and I've tried clearing the cache and turning the translation and closed captioning features off, waiting a while, and then on again - this sometimes works for a few hours but then stops working
Has anyone else had this issue, found a work around, or have any solutions?

I’ve noticed that it sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t and there’s no way to resolve it. I have a huawei tablet and yesterday live translation was working great but this morning it just stopped. Other time I was on my iPhone and it worked for about an hour before it died.
I’m starting to think it’s an issue with whoever is providing that service for XHS. I’ve already messaged support but I doubt they’ll do anything if it’s just one of us raising concerns about it tbf

Why exactly? You and me know why America is banning tiktok...
