Now bring that kid to psychiatrist you might raising a psychopath with out knowing it.

This is when you get professional help. Stuff like this could just create resentment and further escalate the issues this kid has.

mind you, he didn't just "hurt" the cat. he abused it so badly it couldn't eat or walk

So, I completely agree the kid needs to be strongly punished for abusing the cat, but I don’t think this is going to fix the problems he has. If he has anger issues, having him wreck his toys is just going to make him madder and resentful and teach him that you punish someone for hurting your stuff by breaking their stuff.

Take all the toys away and get his ass to a psychiatrist. If it’s anger issues, they can work with that. If it’s something worse, like he’s actually a psychopath, then he’ll need very careful intervention to teach him to just he an asshole and not a monster.

In summary, she explains that those items can be replaced but she doesn't want him to become another statistic.

Now go to behavior management AND see the roots of this behavior. Ask the teachers and check the socials/games. Pull those weeds and start from scratch.

People love to say wtf other people should or should not do. He raised a cat above his head and slammed it to the ground.... imagine the damage, pain, trauma inflicted on a helpless animal. What is wrong with you people? You love to look at black youth and blame the parents for a lack of discipline then criticize everything black parents do.
