Switching niche

Hi guys!
I’m currently thinking of switching my niche from a specific language study (more like I teach?) account, to a polyglot account. I just don’t feel like teaching the language anymore, I would like to focus more on myself and being a polyglot and also med student. So like study content and tips on how to grow your language skills.

Essentially I’ve been posting for about 5-6 months on tiktok -> 9500 followers, 2-3 weeks on instagram 5k followers and I now have 3 long form vids on youtube 480 followers (mainly through shorts)

What do you think? Should I switch on those accounts? I’m kinda scared it’s gonna lose everything I worked hard for.

My views on tiktok have been around 1000-2000 lately.

plus, why don't you test it with a few reels, no drastically different from your old content, and see where it goes

Honestly this sounds more like an evolution than a full switch. You’re still in the language space, just broadening it into polyglot + med student + study content, which honestly could be way more sustainable. I’d transition gradually instead of hard pivoting so your audience adjusts without feeling blindsided.

You’ve already built an audience around language, so a full pivot to something unrelated would be risky. But what you’re describing isn’t really a different niche, it’s just a broader version of the same thing. Language learning, polyglot journey, study content, med student life all fit together if you position it right.

The bigger risk is continuing with something you don’t enjoy. That usually shows in the content and growth slows anyway.

What I’d do is transition gradually. Start mixing in content about your own learning process, how you manage multiple languages, study routines as a med student. Keep some of the original style posts so the audience doesn’t feel like it changed overnight.

Also explain the shift once. A simple post saying you want to share more of your journey and not just teach helps people understand and stick around.

Some drop in views is normal during transitions, but if the content feels more personal and consistent, it usually stabilizes. Your current numbers show you already know how to grow, you’re not starting from zero again.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
