Whatever happened to M2?

I’m not really huge into tiktok so I don’t keep up with it but today I randomly remembered the US app to supposedly replace it but when I look up what became of it I just see that it was supposed to launch in september and fully replace it by march. I don’t know if my calendars wrong but I’m pretty sure its may. were there ever any updates about it?
