TikTok has become incel city and it’s worse than instagram

I lowkey do want to remove the app, I have survived a couple days without it, all I see on my fyp is hate, even when the video itself is seemingly harmless, there is so much hate in comment sections, particularly around sensitive /controversial topics or men being predatory or misogynistic, I see this a lot nowadays, a lot of men harassed this girl for showing what her type in men was, I don’t know how that was offensive in anyway, they were really fucked up about it calling her all sorts of names??? having a type isn’t new lol.

Ik the tiktok algorithm is made to ensure controversial content reaches the most people, but lately it’s been too much, I have had this app for 5 years, and I have never seen this much hate in my life, other than instagram, which I barely use for that reason. It might just be social media in general being toxic but it’s gotten to be point where I am concerned for society. Aswell as this, a lot of comments and videos I see have incorrect grammar and incoherent sentences, this seems random to say, but it’s extremely common now, which isn’t normal at all.

Sometimes TikTok is funny, and an easy way to pass time, but I really do think of that app has far gone from what it was in 2021
